For a limited time, when you trade-in a qualifying storage system and purchase a qualifying HPE Alletra storage solution, you are eligible to receive up to $ 2.000/TB for every TB of raw Flash purchased or TB usable capacity of the returned storage system.

We will offer $ 1.000/TB for an existing HPE storage system and double that for any competing vendor storage system; whichever provides the highest value.

The maximum amount paid per claim is $ 20.000.

For HPE Nimble Storage, HPE Primera and HPE SimpliVity we will offer $ 200/TB for HPE Storage and $ 400/TB for any competing vendor storage system.

Units purchased under Nimble Starter Kits Promotion are not eligible to participate in this program unless exceptionally approved by local HPE.

Promotion Details:

1. The Channel Partner is entitled to do the replacement for the customer and can manage the return of a storage system irrespective of brand and age.
2. The double-investment protection of your legacy non HPE storage system will allow you to achieve the maximum trade in or replacement value much quicker with e.g. only 10TB traded back.
3. The channel partner and end user customer confirms that it was in production during the last 18 month.
4. If raw capacity purchased and returned is not equal, the higher value is taken into account for calculation of rebate.
   
   Receive the higher amount of either:
   
   1. $ 1.000/TB refund for HPE Alletra storage solutions if trading in an HPE storage system or
   2. $ 2.000/TB if replacing an equivalent competing vendor’s solution.
5. The maximum rebate per claim is $ 20.000.
6. If customer trades in more TBs than being purchased, the rebate will be based on the higher amount up to $ 20.000.
7. Units purchased under Nimble Starter Kits Promotion are not eligible to participate in this program unless exceptionally approved by local HPE.
8. Eligible units will consist of:
   
   1. Base storage unit
   2. Controller or controller pairs and
   3. Drives in native drive shelves

How does the program work?

• The seller creates an initial quote, and applies for participation on behalf of the end-user customer.
• Please see here the list of eligible HPE Products.
• Specify new HPE products offered for purchase and corresponding used products for return to get a non-binding offer displayed.
• Provide Deal- / Offer-ID, seller and customer address and submit for approval.
• After deal closure, approved participation requests can be converted to a claim to request collection of return equipment and payment of the refund amount by the participant.
• HPE product details (serial numbers, product numbers, invoice number) and Return product details (dimensions and weights) must be completed.
• Name the pickup address and special instructions for the collection.
• A copy of the invoice must be uploaded.
• In case the seller receiving the payment a Transfer of Ownership document must be uploaded.
• Read and accept the Terms & conditions and submit the claim.
• After claim validation HPE will inform you on the collection arrangements and align the schedules with you.
• After receipt of the return products in the processing center HPE will issue the refund payment to the provided bank account.
